Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 – New Switch Games (November 2019)
Mario and Sonic are back, baby! This time, the unlikely duo will be competing in a variety of 2D sporting events as well as 3D ones.
These 2D events will give you pangs of nostalgia while you watch Knuckles piledrive Princess Peach into the ground and Mario and Sonic racing each other in 8-bit fashion.
If you’re looking for a sweet party game to play with your buddies, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 is a good pick for the month of November 2019 and is one of the biggest releases in the holiday season.
Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaire’s Conspiracy – New Switch Games (November 2019)
Professor Layton may not be the star of this puzzle mystery series anymore, but Katrielle does a fantastic job at filling in for her father.
If you’ve never played a Layton game before, it’s all about solving puzzles while you explore quaint European towns and solve crimes, problems, and other issues with the townsfolk.
The puzzles can be really tricky and the narrative of these games are actually quite compelling.
Katrielle and the Millionaire’s Conspiracy is a great entry for those new to the series and is the perfect Switch game to just cuddle up with in the middle of the night with a nice cuppa tea on those cool November evenings.
We reviewed the game when it came to mobile back in 2017 and our Reviews Editor, Zhiqing, adored the soundtrack, witty writing, and charming puzzles.
Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield – New Switch Games (November 2019)
Pokemon Sword and Shield are finally upon us and these two games are a huge deal for the Pokemon world as they are the first mainline games in the series to come to a home console… since the 90s.
This generation brings with it a new region, a brand new gameplay mechanic, new online features, and most importantly, dozens upon dozens of brand-new Pokemon.
Sword and Shield look very promising and will most likely send the year out with a huge bang, considering it’s the last big AAA Nintendo release for the Switch in 2019.
And that is it for all of the new Switch releases for November of 2019. Are you looking forward to any of these games? If so, let us know in the comments below!
