Crash Bandicoot, Cortex Strikes Back, and Warped have all been remastered with much better graphics and eye-popping visuals, yet keeps the same challenging gameplay and iconic stages. Play as Crash and his sister, Coco, on different adventures to stop the evil Dr. Cortex as you hop, spin, and slide your way across different maps. If you’ve been looking to scratch that bandicoot itch, the N. Sane Trilogy is available now on Steam.

Life is Strange fans are in for a real treat with the prequel to the upcoming sequel in the series. The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit follows the story of a young boy named Chris Erikson who turns the mundane into magical with his (imaginary) superhero skills. Things aren’t all spick and span in his life, however, as he suffers from living with an abusive father after his mother’s death.

The game is a two-hour journey in his shoes, with players learning more about his life and how he copes with the recent events and abuse from his father. While we’re all definitely excited for Life is Strange 2, The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit has just enough heartwrenching content to tide us over until the sequel later this year. Oh, and not to mention that this June Steam game is a free download.

Realm Royale

Realm Royale is one of the newest games to join in on the battle royale craze, and it’s also a spinoff of the hero shooter Paladins. Things took a slightly different turn, with Hi-Rez eventually creating a completely different game with all the battle royale goodness scrunched in. Unlike Fortnite or PUBG, however, Realm Royale opts for a class-based system, urging fans to pick one of five different roles in the game. The big twist here is that certain classes can access specific skills that give them an edge in battle. Mages, for example, have access to a wide variety or spells while Engineers can throw down turrets that seek enemies on the battlefield.

Despite its lofty goals, Realm Royale is still in Early Access, meaning there are plenty of kinks that need to be worked out. Things are still heavily unbalanced, and there are a good handful of bugs crawling around in the game. That said, Realm Royale is looking pretty promising, especially since it just hit the 3 million player point. Oh, and you don’t need to worry about spending cash on this Steam game because it’s free-to-play, save for all the cosmetic items you can purchase.

This action-adventure game places you right in the heart of all the action as Jonathan Reid, a man turned vampire. He takes it upon himself to investigate the mysterious happenings surrounding his turning into a member of the undead. Of course, Jonathan will be a facing a slew of dangerous enemies along the way, prompting him to fight back a slew of vampiric abilities.

That being said, Jonathan must also maintain his thirst for blood by hunting targets. By maintaining relationships and studying schedules, he has the option of killing anyone around London and slaying them to level up. Interestingly enough, players also have the option of ignoring his bloodlust completely by rushing through the game without harming an innocent person. Vampyr pushes players into playing their own way, following the Hippocratic Oath or submitting into Jonathan’s lust for blood.

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle

Fates collide in this crossover fighting game on Steam, featuring four famous franchises, BlazBlue, Persona 4, Under Night In-Birth, and RWBY. That said, players have a wide pool of characters to choose from, including Ragna the Bloodedge, Yu Narukami, Hyde Kido, and Ruby Rose. Fights are tag-based, meaning you’ll need to manage teams of two during battles, which opens the options for an assortment of new combos strings.

More importantly, however, is the fact that BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle caters to both newcomers and veterans in the fighting game series. Apart from the extensive list of combos you can pull off, players can simply mash a button to execute a flurry of attacks. With an initial cast of 20 characters, Arc System Works is working on adding an additional 20 characters through downloadable content. If you’re a big fan of fighting games, this Steam game packs plenty of content to look forward to.
