After January started things off strong for the PS4 with Resident Evil 2 and Kingdom Hearts III, February 2019 is keeping the ball rolling with a handful of huge releases. Indeed, it certainly seems like the start of 2019 is crammed with highly-anticipated titles.

The first couple weeks are a little slow with the biggest release being God Eater 3. Fans of the series, or anime fans in general, can jump into a post-apocalyptic world where they have to struggle to survive against deadly creatures known as the Aragami.

The third week of the month is when things really get crazy for the PS4, however. On one day, Feb. 15, we get the release of three major games on PS4: Jump Force, Metro Exodus, and Far Cry: New Dawn.

Shooter fans have it good with both Metro and Far Cry taking you to wildly different post-apocalyptic locales, the former a snowy mutated version of Russia and the other a neon-splashed version of Hope County, Montana.

Meanwhile, anime fans will want to keep an eye on the Jump Force, the dream team fighting game that brings the biggest anime and manga franchises together, like Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, My Hero Academia, Bleach, City Hunter, Saint Seiya, and much more.

The final notch in the calendar for the PS4 is perhaps February’s biggest game, BioWare’s next epic, Anthem. The newest title is a huge departure for the studio with a multiplayer almost Destiny-like focus.

Players will hop into their very own Javelin mech-suit that they can use to fly around and wreak havoc on enemies. Of course, that renowned BioWare storytelling will be the glue holding everything together.

There are also a handful of notable indie titles releasing on PS4 this month, like Degrees of Separation, RemiLore, and the renowned strategy game Stellaris finally coming to consoles. Below you can see the full list of PS4 releases for February 2019.
