How to Execute – For Honor Beta

Recommended Videos

If you’re playing the For Honor beta, or have watched some streams of the hack and slash action you may have noticed some players executing their opponents. This not only looks badass but can give your team a handy advantage over just leaving them to die. Here’s how to execute enemy players and end their life in style.

The first thing you’re going to want to do to execute an opponent in For Honor is, as you may have guessed, deplete their health. Once you’ve drained their health bar, you should see their character fall to their knees. It’s at this moment that you can then initiate an execution. To do this, all you need to press is either Square or Triangle (X or Y for you Xbox One owners). You’ll then watch your character finish off the opponent with a few stylish swipes of their weapon.

Executions aren’t just for show in For Honor, though. They will prevent the opposing team to revive their fallen hero by simply heading over to the body. Executing an enemy player will make them have to wait to respawn into the game, giving your team the chance to overwhelm the opposition. Whenever you get the chance, don’t forget to execute.
