FFXIV: How to Unlock Myths of the Realm Aglaia Alliance Raid

Patch 6.1 for Final Fantasy XIV is here, and it’s a big one. The patch continues the MSQ as the Warrior of Light embarks on a new adventure, and it also brings the first of three new Alliance raids to be released over the course of the Endwalker era. Here’s how to unlock the Myths of the Realm: Aglaia Alliance raid in FFXIV.

Unlocking the Aglaia Alliance Raid in FFXIV

  1. Head to the Rising Stones in Mor Dhona and accept the quest Newfound Adventure to continue the MSQ.

  2. Follow the MSQ until you reach and complete the quest titled Bridging the Rift.

  3. Go back to Old Sharlayan and speak with the Fresh-faced Student at the Baldesion Annex.

    This will allow you to accept a quest titled A Mission in Mor Dhona, which kickstarts the Myths of the Realm questline.ffxiv aglaia

  4. Follow your quest markers and you’ll eventually reach an entirely new realm, and also unlock the Aglaia Alliance raid.

    You need to clear this raid in order to progress in the questline.

Requirements

Of course, you can’t simply start the raid without meeting the necessary item level requirements. The good news is that the Aglaia raid’s ilvl requirements aren’t that high, especially if you’ve been keeping up with current content.

The ilvl requirement for Aglaia is ilvl 565, and naturally, you also need to have a combat class at level 90, which you will already have if you’re at this step. As long as you meet those requirements, you’ll be able to run the raid for weekly loot drops.
