There are two ways to change party members, and it all depends on where you are. If you’re inside a town or a dungeon, you need to stand on a Record of Fate, which are the green pyramid spots you would otherwise use for saving. While standing there, open your inventory and use the Tele-Porter item. With it, you are taken to a screen to switch up your party.

The other method is for when you are traveling on the overworld map. In this instance, seeing as there aren’t any Record of Fate spots, you can just open your inventory and use the Tele-Porter item wherever you want. Other than the change of location, the method is exactly the same.

That’s everything you need to know for how to change party members in Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition.
