How to Whip in Riders Republic

First things first, unlocking the ability to perform tricks such as the tailwhip requires you to have found the Riders Republic Destroyed Bike relic. This is located in an area called Zion, in Pine Creek. You can see its location in the above image. Once you arrive, you’re searching for a bike wheel sticking out of a rock in the middle of the river.

There are actually two different types of whip in Riders Republic; the standard whip, and the tailwhip. Both are reasonably easy to perform, though do note that pulling off tricks is always easier if you have landing auto-assist switched on. You can find out more about what the different landing modes are and how to use them here.

Now, onto how to pull off the two types of whip.

  • Whip – Whilst on a downhill bike, press the left or right shoulder button and hold down.
  • Tailwhip: While in a freeride bike event, press both shoulder buttons and hold left or right.
