Diablo 2: How to Get to Dark Wood

Diablo 2: Resurrected is here and players are able to relive the glory days of Diablo 2 either on PC once again, or on their modern home console of choice. The game looks fantastic but it’s not any less harsh. If you’re here, you’re probably stuck in Act 1’s quest, Tools for Trade, and are wondering how to get to Dark Wood in Diablo 2. Here’s the path you’ll need to take to get there.

How to Get to Dark Wood in Diablo 2: Resurrected

The first thing you need to do is head on over to the Stony Field. You can get there quickly by using a waypoint which you should already have by now, or at the very least you’re already in the zone and can go get it before you leave.

Either way, once you’re in the Stony Field wander around until you find the Underground Passage. This might sound like a one-off optional dungeon, but it’s not, it’s where you need to in order to get to the Dark Wood.

Enter the Underground Passage and work your way through it. On the first floor, you’ll eventually find an exit that will lead you to the Dark Wood. And boom, that’s all there is to it. You may need to wander around a bit to find the exit with everything being randomized, but you’ll find it eventually.

It’s easy once you know which zones connect where, it’s just that Diablo 2 isn’t the greatest at telling you where to get to places and that hasn’t changed with the release of Resurrected.
