The release of Valhalla’s second major content expansion, The Siege of Paris, brings another compelling new adventure for Eivor to embark on, and there are also plenty of new items and weapons to discover along the way. Here’s how to get the Durendal Short Sword in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla The Siege of Paris.
How to Get the Durendal Short Sword in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla The Siege of Paris
The Durendal is a Short Sword, which is a new weapon type added with the recent Sigrblot seasonal event and the launch of The Siege of Paris. It brings one-handed swords to the game for the first time, and the Durendal, in particular, is one of the best in the game.
To get it, you’ll need to travel to a small town just south of the Evreux region highlighted in the image above. Use your Odin’s Sight to ping for the gold loot until it is clearly indicated on your screen. You will notice that it’s hidden in an underground area below the town. Navigate more or less directly on top of it until you see a well covered by wood.
As you can see in the image above, it’s just next to a small building with a wooden roof. You can climb on top and then use your bow to break the wooden grate. From there, it’s just a case of descending down and making your way through the underground area to your objective.
And that’s all there is to know about how to get the Durendal Short Sword in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla The Siege of Paris.
