You may already know, but Seasonal Artifacts are a legendary quality item that was introduced back during year 3. Once equipped, they enable you to gain light levels beyond the regular cap and enable you to purchase upgrades for various weapons and armor; something that can be super useful for any Guardian who wants to complete all the end game content. In this guide we’ll show you how to get the Seasonal Artifact for the Destiny Season of the Hunt & Beyond Light
How to Get Seasonal Artifact for Season of the Hunt & Beyond Light
Firstly, you’ll want to just, y’know, play the game. The initial step is to complete the intro quest for Beyond Light and once that’s done just do the usual and head back to the Tower.
If you open your director, you’ll see a quest marker in the center area of the tower. Track it and it will lead you directly to Zavala’s office. If you interact with the big blue screen in said office, a message will pop from Osiris and you’ll have unlocked the new Seasonal Artifact, Fang of Xivu Arath.
Once you have the artifact equipped you’ll want to get grinding XP as much as possible in order to break the light level, unlock the various upgrades in the new piece of equipment and make the grind much easier for you and the other guardians in your party. Any experience earned will also count towards your Season of the Hunt pass.
The best way to get XP, as always, is to complete bounties. Also, the new ghost upgrades will allow you to apply a permanent buff to your XP as well which always helps. Finally, note that champion mods are armor upgrades now which will help when picking weapons to engage in difficult PvE encounters.
That’s all you need to know about how to get the Seasonal Artifact in Destiny 2: Beyond Light’s first slate of new content, Season of the Hunt. For more on Destiny 2’s latest expansion, head over to our Beyond Light wiki.
