In the case of the 20 Shrine of Depth locations in Genshin Impact, players will need a special key acquired from either running an Abyssal Domain or completing World Quests. As you can see in the above image, the 20 Shrines of Depth in Genshin Impact are scattered across Teyvat, with most of them in between Mondstadt and Liyue.

Remember, though, each region has its own shrine key. To open a shrine in Mondsadt, you’ll need a blue shrine key, while in Liyue it’s a golden color. You cannot open a Liyue shrine with a Mondstadt key.
