When playing online games, your connection’s Ping is crucial to ensuring you have a smooth and stable experience. If your Ping is high, you’ll have a lot of lag and latency issues, or even complete disconnections from the servers. Here’s how to check Ping in CoD Warzone.

First off, it’s worth noting that you can check your ping regardless of what platform you’re playing on. We’ve broken down the steps you need to follow below:
How to Check Ping & Latency in CoD Warzone
- Search for a game and join a lobby.
This can be Solos, Trios or Quads. Wait until you’re in the pre-game warm-up lobby.
- Press the Options Button/ Menu Button/ ESC
This will bring up the pause screen with the option to leave the game.
- Select ‘Options’
- Select the ‘Account’ tab.
This is the tab farthest to the right out of the options that’ll appear at the top of the screen.
- You can now check and see your Ping.
Your ping (Latency) is shown in real-time in a window in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. Your Packet Loss % is also displayed next to it.

- The lower the number next to your Latency/ Ping, the better your connection and experience will be.
- Latency cannot always be controlled by things you do at home. Sometimes matchmaking will put you in a game with bad latency if a better, more suitable server cannot be found.
