While most Warzone players have settled on specific loadouts, usually including the Grau, AX-50, or those annoying dual-Magnums, it can be fun sometimes to test out new weapons. So that you can fire a bolt into an enemy’s head, here’s everything you need to know about how to use the crossbow in Call of Duty Warzone.
In all honesty, the crossbow isn’t a very useful weapon, especially in Warzone. The bolt flies so slowly through the air that it’s really hard to be accurate without a lot of practise, and it’s useless at any sort of range.
How to Use Crossbow in Call of Duty Warzone
While you’ll find the Crossbow in the loadout section of the Warzone menu, just as you would in Modern Warfare‘s standard multiplayer modes, you’re actually not able to set it as a custom loadout in Warzone. For some reason, whatever that maybe, it is not allowed in actual matches of the battle royale mode.
There is only one way to use it in Warzone and that is in the warm up area while the lobby fills up.
Getting it there is completely random, and you’ll just have to keep dying or playing games until you spawn with it, but that’s your only option when it comes to using the crossbow in Warzone.
If you want to use it more regularly, you’ll have to play the standard multiplayer in the full Modern Warfare game, or hope that Infinity Ward allow you to in Warzone at a later date. If they ever do, we’ll be sure to update this page with all the information you need to know about how to use it.
