How to Reload in Predator Hunting Grounds

Reloading in Predator Hunting Grounds works differently based on which side of the match you’re playing on.

If you’re playing as the Fire Team, then all you need to do is press the Square Button. This will refill your clip with whatever ammo you have, and can be executed whether your weapon’s clip has been emptied or you’ve only shot one bullet.

Your character will also reload their weapon automatically should you empty the entire clip, though it isn’t recommended you let this occur in most situations. You’ll be left vulnerable to attack while reloading, and it’s best to have some control on where and when you leave yourself open in this way.

How to Reload as the Predator

If you’re playing as the Predator in Predator Hunting Grounds, then reloading works a bit differently.

The Predator’s plasma weapons recharge automatically over time, drawing from a well of energy that refills so long as you allow a certain amount of time to pass. For example, if you wait for a bit after firing off a shot, you’ll be back to a full charge after only a few seconds.

However, if you keep blasting until the energy bar is depleted, then the weapon will overheat and you’ll need to wait longer before you can fire off another shot. During this time, you’ll need to rely on melee attacks with the Predator’s arm blade to defend yourself.

Hopefully this cleared up how to reload in Predator Hunting Grounds. For more on the game, check out some of the game’s trailers detailing the different classes you can play as.
