Everyone’s favorite spirit creature has returned to our screens once more thanks to Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Available on PC and Xbox One (on Game Pass, too, no less), the game follows Ori as he tries to track down his owl friend Ku. Being the typical bigger and better sequel, some fans may be wondering just how long Ori and the Will of the Wisps takes to beat.
How Long Is Ori and the Will of the Wisps?
Our first playthrough of Ori and the Will of the Wisps on Normal difficulty came in at 11 hours and 30 minutes. This was us playing through the main story of the game, while spending some time completing the odd side quest for animals, trying out the Spirit Shrines and Trials, and generally venturing off the beaten path to try and find some hidden secrets.
That being said, our playthrough completion percentage was only at 67%. There’s still more Energy and Health fragments to find, side quests to complete, and more little secrets tucked away I’m still toiling away on uncovering.
As such, there’s a good chance that if you want to spend even more time exploring the world as you play through the story that you could spend closer to 15 hours beating Ori and the Will of the Wisps.
There are also other things to take into account, such as the difficulty level you play on and your familiarity with platformers in general. The higher the difficulty, the more challenging it will obviously be, and if you’re unfamiliar with platformers, it might take you a while to really get to grips with how Ori handles and some of the world nuances.
