This Skyrim mod is a massive add-on that adds what are essentially Kaio-Ken abilities to every race in the game. For those who are unversed in Dragon Ball terminology, this means you get ridiculous buffs and a sweet aura surrounding your character.

On top of those special bonuses, your character also gets buffed shouts to increase their effects. The most notable buff is the Dragon Aspect shout now increasing health regen by a factor of 25.

Fenrir the Frost Wolf 2020

This Skyrim mod technically goes all the way back to 2013 with the creators Arcane51388 and ZeroEternalz. Now, Fenrir the Frost Wolf has been revived with a handful of new bells and whistles to make this a completely new experience.

Fenrir’s change from snow-white fur to a dark coat now makes it easier to see the intricate designs on his back, face and legs. This friendly wolf also has better AI programming and a wider range of more balanced ice attacks.

Repopulate Skyrim with Peacocks

There’s just no debate that this is one of the best Skyrim mods of January. No other mods let you fill this northern nation with rideable peacocks. And when it comes to bird-related Skyrim mods, nobody can touch gg77.

Toss eggs from your hands to hatch endless hordes of peacocks across Skyrim. Then, mount one to lead your peacock army across the tundra. They’re actually not that strong, but at least they look pretty nice. Most importantly, seeing someone riding a peacock in Skyrim is hilarious.

Realistic Bow SFX…..NANI

Best Skyrim Mods

As a wise man named Kenshiro once said, “Omae wa mou shindeiru.” Sure, the audio in this mod isn’t as realistic like the title implies. However, this addition is good for a laugh or two if you like to do archer builds in Skyrim.

Pull back on the string and suddenly you’ll hear, “Omae wa…” Release the bow to finish the sentence. If you land a critical hit or stealth kill, then you’ll hear the “NANI?” track play. That’s all there is to this Skyrim mod.

Timesplitter

Best Skyrim Mods

Mod Creator: HorribleAndy (mod not pictured)

Not only is this one of the best Skyrim mods of January, but it’s one of the coolest add-ons out there. The two skills added through this mod are essentially a magic version of the Slow Time shout.

The apprentice-level spell is considerably inferior to the Slow Time shout. Where this mod truly shines is at the expert level since you get a full 20 seconds of slow time. It’s not as slow as the full shout (80% vs 90% slowed), but the longer duration will help to get you further out of harm’s way.

Those were the best Skyrim mods of February 2020. If you’re needing more of this game-expanding goodness, then check out our December 2019 and January 2020 lists.
