Link’s Awakening is a brand-new remake of the 1993 Game Boy classic, and while this remaster is literally almost the exact game, there are some new changes here that make it a bit more modern. If you’re wondering how to save in Link’s Awakening, here’s how to do it.
How to Save in Link’s Awakening
Since you don’t want to lose any of your progress in The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, you might be wondering how to go about making sure your precious progress is kept safe.
Luckily, Link’s Awakening will save your game automatically every so often when you accomplish things such as completing a dungeon. You will see an icon pop up on the screen and it will say “now saving.”
But if you wanted to record your progress manually, you can do so by opening up the menu with the + button, scrolling to the right tab, and then hitting the save option.
Since there are a total of three save files in the game, you can also load up a file from this menu as well.
To sum things up:
- The game will save automatically at several points throughout the game.
- But if you want to save manually, just open the menu with the + button.
- Then, press the R button to scroll to the right and then press save.
You can also load a save from here as well.
