In Dauntless, you fight a bunch of different behemoths to obtain loot so that you can craft stronger weapons and armor to then fight even more powerful monsters. That’s the main loop of this action role-playing game, but if you’re trying to craft one of the three exotic armors in Dauntless, we got you covered. Here’s everything you need to know about how to get the Tragic Echo exotic armor in Dauntless.
Getting the Tragic Echo Exotic Armor in Dauntless
When it comes to exotic headpieces in Dauntless, there are three out there right now that you can obtain if you complete the correct steps and gather the appropriate materials. We have the Prismatic Grace, the Skullforge, and then the Tragic Echo armor.
This dark blue and red-colored helmet has a very powerful unique effect that is totally worth grinding for. This power lets you turn into a shadow clone when you die for the first time in a hunt and allows you to deal 100% increased damage for a limited amount of time, which can very helpful if you’re facing a tough behemoth.
In order to craft the Tragic Echo exotic armor, you will need to first grab the actual blueprint that allows you to craft the armor. These Blueprints are randomly dropped when you fight the Shrowd Behemoth or when you complete Heroic Patrols.
There’s no fast or easy way to get the Blueprint, so you just have to hope that it drops. We recommend just playing the game like normal, completing Heroic patrols and such and waiting until it drops. Once you eventually get it, you can then head on over to the blacksmith, Moyra, who will make it for you if you have these materials:
- 75 Rams
- 2 Shrowd Feathers
- 1 Darkbeak Fragment
- 6 Neutral Clawgems
- 3 Neutral Furytails
Most of the materials you need for the Tragic Echo exotic armor are easy to get. Rams are easy to get because that’s the normal currency in the game, so you should have plenty just sitting around. Shrowd Feathers are common drops from slaying Shrowds, and Darkbeaks are found by breaking the head of any Shrowds.
Neutral Clawgems are a little bit harder to obtain as they are rare drops that come from the limbs of Neutral Behemoths. These have to be broken within the first two minutes of the hunt and the hunt has to be level 8 or higher.
And last but not least, you can grab Furytails by breaking the tails of a raging Neutral Behemoth in level 8+ hunts. Once you have all of these items, you are now ready to craft the piece of armor!
And that’s pretty much everything you need to know about how to get the Tragic Echo exotic armor in Dauntless.
