How to Get Dull Arcstone and What It’s For in Dauntless

Getting Dull Arcstones in Dauntless

Dull Arcstones are one of the reagents you can get in Dauntless, and they’re obtained through a variety of ways in the game, including completing pursuits, patrols, and just hunting Behemoths.

If you’re looking to farm them, it’s worth noting that Dull Arcstones will generally drop more frequently from Behemoths with Threat levels between 8 to 12.

In addition to that, when you’re hunting Behemoths, you’ll also want to make it a point to achieve certain goals to increase your chances of getting an Arcstone. For instance, breaking parts off a Behemoth can reward you with extra loot including Arcstones. Other achievements like completing a hunt or patrol without anyone getting downed will also give you extra bonuses.

So, in short, you’ll want to focus on Behemoths with Threat levels between 8 to 12, and try to break them as much as possible for your increased loot chances at the end of the hunt.

Patrols and the Elite Hunt Pass will also drop them as rewards, if you’re looking for more ways to grind.

What Dull Arcstones Are Used For in Dauntless

As one of the reagents you can get in Dauntless, Dull Arcstones are mainly used for crafting purposes. Simply take them to the Aethersmith in town, and you’ll be able to craft weapons and armor for your character, as well as consumable items that can help you in other hunts.

You’ll still need other crafting materials like Orbs, and Behemoth parts themselves to craft most things, so don’t just focus on farming Dull Arcstones when playing.

That’s all you need to know about how to get Dull Arcstones and what they’re for in Dauntless. For more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to check out our Dauntless guide wiki, or check out some of our most popular guides down below.
