Today Nippon Ichi Software released a new trailer of the upcoming game Murder Detective Jack the Ripper, featuring the title’s hero.
I said “hero,” but the game is actually not that simple. Protagonist Arthur Hewitt can either be an upstanding detective or give in to his dark desire, becoming the one he initially sets out to fight. It all depends on the player’s choices.
Besides, he hears voices in his head, which always tends to be a tony but problematic.
If you want to see more, you can enjoy the most recent gallery of screenshots showing cases 2 and 3, the latest trailer featuring Sophie Reichel, one released before starring Harry Brown, another focusing on Charlotte Peace, the previous video starring mafia boss Rory Goodspeed, another trailer featuring Jack the Ripper himself, the first video and images released a few weeks ago, and an extensive gallery of screenshots showing the first case.
Murder Detective Jack the Ripper will be released in Japan for PS4 and Nintendo Switch on April 25. No western release has been announced for the moment, but I would be surprised if NIS America didn’t bring this one over since they localize basically every game by their parent company.
