How to Skip Cutscenes in The Division 2

Recommended Videos

Games are exceptionally lengthy nowadays and sometimes you just want to hop right in without being held up by multiple cutscenes. If the story is not the reason you’re playing The Division 2, you might want to just skip the cutscenes to help cut down how long it takes you to get into the game. Here is how to skip cutscenes in The Division 2.

How to Skip Cutscenes

In The Division 2, you can skip cutscenes by holding the Square or X button on your controller. Obviously, you will miss out on whatever cutscene you are watching, and currently, there doesn’t seem to be any way to rewatch that scene without replaying the entire story mission.

So, be warned, there is no turning back after you’ve made that choice.

Missions in The Division 2

If the story isn’t for you in the game, you’re in luck because there is plenty to do otherwise.

Maybe tackle some side objectives and clear hordes of enemies out of Washington D.C, or try your hand against other players in the Dark Zone.

The Dark Zone is all about your skill and loadout, so it’s a great place to put everything you have to the test while trying to score some of the best loot in the game.

Crafting is also a considerable part of obtaining some high-end loot in The Division 2, so checking every corner of the map for backpacks or crates filled with crafting materials is a great way to build your stash, and you won’t have to worry about the need to skip cutscenes.

Gathering blueprints from settlements by completing side missions and control points will quickly send you on your way to be ready for the endgame.

This is all without having to be bogged down by a lengthy conversation or the desire to skip cutscenes. The story in Division 2 is given to you while you’re on the move to your objective.

While you will still have to make your way through the campaign to reach the endgame grind, skipping cutscenes will help you reach that goal far quicker than other players.

Well, that’s everything you need to know for how to skip cutscenes in The Division 2. If you’re looking for more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to check out our Division 2 Wiki. The Division 2 is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
