Is There a Difficulty Trophy or Achievement in Far Cry New Dawn? Answered
Far Cry New Dawn is finally here, and with it a smattering of challenges for Trophy and Achievement hunters to take on. Before they dive in though, they’re probably wondering: Is there a difficulty trophy or achievement in Far Cry New Dawn?
The short answer is, no. Far Cry New Dawn does not have a Trophy or Achievement tied to completing the game on higher or lower difficulty settings.
Instead, almost all of the game’s Trophies and Achievements are tied to completing key parts of the game’s story or accomplishing particularly challenging feats while making your way through the post-apocalyptic Hope County.
This includes but isn’t limited to sniping an enemy from 100 meters away with a bow and arrow, discovering all of the game’s collectibles or tracking down hidden references to past Ubisoft titles littered throughout the world.
It’s a little bit of a bummer, but given the number of dangers Far Cry New Dawn’s Hope County presents to players, it is by no means an indicator that the game will be easy.
Host to everything from bloodthirsty raiders to mutated animals, the remains of the former Montana county are sure to provide any number of threats to players as they try to re-establish civilization.
Likewise, if players are in the mood to create their own challenges, they’re free to do that too.
Thanks to the wide array of different weapons available for use, players can make their way through the game with as much or as little of a certain armament as they’d like, and can take on the entirety of the game with only a handful if they’d prefer to.
Hopefully, this cleared up whether there is a difficulty trophy or achievement in Far Cry New Dawn.Â
