Resident Evil 2 Remake vs Original: 6 Iconic Moments Compared
Main Hall
The Iconic Main Hall of the RPD building. This is the first room you will enter inside of the police station and will also be your main hub for traversal. It has changed quite a bit in 20 years.
1. S.T.A.R.S Office
The infamous S.T.A.R.S office has been remade and everyone’s desk is still there. Be sure to poke around for some extra ammo and healing items. You can also get to know the S.T.A.R.S agents a little bit by looking at how they decorate their desk.
2. The William Birkin Boss Fight
The remade William Birkin is still a true concept of the original, but now even more terrifying. Be prepared for a real fight. This iconic boss’ design is still beloved today.
3. Licker Reveal
Lickers are some of the toughest enemies you will face in Resident Evil 2. The first time they are revealed will be sure to send shivers down your spine but don’t panic, just take it nice and slow.
4. Sewer Gator
Sewers are never a place you want to hang around in. Especially during a zombie apocalypse, so when you’re finally tasked with having to venture through them it’s a memorable moment.
5. Mr. X Reveal
Mr. X is here to hunt you down throughout the RPD building. The first time he shows up he flips the entire game on its head. From this point on it’s time to run.
6. Super Tyrant
The Super Tyrant is one of the most climatic boss fights in Resident Evil 2. With the ticking clock, it is one of the most stressful and rewarding events in RE2
7. Final Train Fight
The final train fight is a culmination of the epic saga of Resident Evil 2. Just when you believe you’re finally making it out of this horrible place, something has shown up to give you one last challenge.
