The new season of Fortnite officially kicked off yesterday. Season 7 has, of course, brought with it a fresh Battle Pass complete with tons of cosmetics and a new set of weekly challenges for players to complete. Here’s where the Season 7 Week 1 secret star location is in Fortnite.

First off, it’s important to note that you can’t just get the secret star if you haven’t complete all of the week 1 challenges. You’ll need to complete every last one of them in order to unlock the loading screen. The loading screen you receive from clearing a set of weekly challenges always hints to the location of the secret star (or banner) itself. With this being an ‘odd’ week, it’s a secret star we’re tracking down. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at the week 1 loading screen.

Week 1 Loading Screen

Of course the week 1 loading screen was always going to depict a snowy season. It’s the holiday season after all! Here, we can see the Zenith skin gliding on down a zipwire from a mountain.

It looks pretty and everything, but what you really want to be paying attention to is the submarine to the left of Zenith’s raised knee. Oh, what’s that faintly sitting on the top of it? Looks like a secret battle star to us!

Where to Find the Week 1 Secret Star Location in Fortnite

This submarine can, as you may have guessed, be found in the snowy southwest section of the map. You actually landed on this submarine for the third part of the Dance on a Crown of RVs series of challenges. You’ll probably want to try and land on top of here from jumping out the Battle Bus, rather than trying to build your way back up to save you some precious time and materials.

Here’s where you’ll want to be heading for the week 1 secret star location on your map.

As you can see, our map marker here is just to the north of the westernmost log cabin of the three you can see on the map. It’s just a little southeast of Frosty Flights, and southwest of Polar Peaks.

Make your way down on top of the submarine and the week 1 secret star should appear before your eyes. Remember, you need to have completed all of the Fortnite weekly challenges for week 1 in order to be able to claim it for yourself.
