How to Get Type T Fuse in Fallout 76 (An Ounce of Prevention Quest)
One of the early main quests you’ll pick up in Fallout 76, titled ‘An Ounce of Prevention’ tasks you with acquiring the blood samples of a Feral Ghoul, Mole Rate, and a Wolf. While you may have been able to fairly easily track these down, you’ll also need to find a Type T fuse to replace the broken one in the medical center research room. Here’s how to get the Type T fuse in Fallout 76.
The first thing you’ll want to do to get the Type T fuse in Fallout 76 is go ahead and open up your map. You can do this by pressing the Options button on PS4, or the Menu button on Xbox One. You then want to look out for the yellow diamond icon on your map in the same location that ours is in the screenshot below.
Make sure you’re heading in this direction, and then keep heading there until you reach a small town.
Once you’ve arrived in the town, you’ll need to go ahead and enter the building that the marker is seemingly guiding you into. The Type T fuse that you need to complete the Ounce of Prevention quest isn’t in this house right away.
You’re looking for the house on the west side of town with some steps leading down around the back. Be warned, however, there are a bunch of Scorched here, so make sure your weapons are reloaded and you’ve got healable items at the ready just in case things go south.
Head down the steps around the back of the house and you’ll find yourself in a basement with a corpse in a chair. Right in front of them should be a hole in the wall. Run through it and you’ll discover the location Greg’s Mine Supply in Fallout 76.
Make your way through this tunnel and you’ll end up in another room with what looks like another attempted tunnel to your left. Ignore this and keep on heading through the path in the opposite corner of the room. You’ve nearly got the Type T fuse you need.
Follow the path around and you’ll walk up some stairs. As you head into the next room, you’ll be greeted by some more Scorched. Get ’em shot and taken care of. Then, literally just to your right as you entered this room, you’ll see the explosives crate in the image above.
