Telltale’s Walking Dead: Final Season Episode 2 Story Summary
The Aftermath
After the events of the previous episode, The Walking Dead: Final Season episode 2 starts off with a lot of tension. Now that AJ has shot Marlon, everyone in the school is immediately wary and distrustful of Clem and AJ. In our playthrough, Violet stood up for us during the confrontation, so apart from her and Tenn, everyone else is pretty pissed at us. Immediately after Marlon’s death, Mitch gets aggressive, and even Louis calls AJ a murderer in shock at his best friend’s death. Violet tells Clem and AJ to go back to the dorm while she sorts things out.
The next morning, AJ asks Clem if he really is a murderer, and the player will have the option to either say that he did nothing wrong, or reason with him a little more. Clem ends up telling AJ that he needs to atone for what he did. Meeting up with the rest of the group, we find out that the group will take a vote to decide if Clem and AJ will stay at, or leave the school. The group also holds a funeral for both Marlon and Brody, and Clem explains the concept of a funeral to AJ. In the end, they’re forced to leave, and Violet and Louis offer to escort them to the border of the safe zone.
