How to Buy Animations & Emotes in NBA 2K19
MyPlayer has long been a part of the NBA 2K experience, and in last year’s entry in the series, The Neighborhood was introduced. This was an open world social space for players to hop in as their MyPlayer, customize, train, and socialize with other wannabe legendary ballers. In NBA 2K19, developer Visual Concepts has clearly wanted to take customizing MyPlayer to the next level, especially when it comes to The Neighborhood, as it’s now possible to get Neighborhood emotes, alongside your usual player animations in NBA 2K19. Here’s what you need to know to buy animations and emotes for your MyPlayer in NBA 2K19.
First things first, if you haven’t got much VC, make that a priority. Fortunately, we’ve got a nice handy guide to help you out with accumulating VC fast in NBA 2K19.
Once you’ve got some hard-earned VC (or some you just bought via microtransactions), you’re all set to buy animations. First, you’ll want to press Triangle on PS4 or Y on Xbox One while you’re in The Neighborhood. From here, you’re going to head to MyPlayer within this navigation menu and head over to the Animation Store tab. This is where you’re going to want to head to buy animations and emotes in NBA 2K19, as this has categories for all of the different options like Spin Jumpers, Post Fades, Jump Shots and more. As soon as you’ve found the animations you want to buy in NBA 2K19, you’ll simply need to press Triangle / Y again to purchase and confirm your spends, as long as you’ve got enough VC.
As long as you do, the VC will be deducted from your account, and your new animations and emotes will be added into the My Animations tab within your MyPlayer menu.
And that’s all you need to know to buy animations and emotes in NBA 2K19. For more tips, tricks, and guides on the game, we’ve got a guides wiki taking you through everything from the basics to more advanced tactics and skills.
