Is Forza Horizon 4 Coming to Nintendo Switch?
Microsoft’s flahship racing franchise, Forza, is now more than the standard racing game we were introduced to on the Xbox in 2005. Forza Motorsport, racing sim title, saw its seventh iteration release last year, which means 2018 is the the turn of Horizon, the more lighthearted series that features stunning vistas and showpiece events. Now, for the fourth Forza Horizon game, the Horizon music festival has made its way to the beautiful English countryside and the weather is as unpredictable as the tight corners. You’ll be jumping in a Mclaren and narrowly missing all the country pubs and farms. However, you may be wondering if Forza Horizon 4 will be playable on your platform of choice. Well, here is everything you need to know about whether Forza Horizon 4 is coming to Nintendo Switch.
Unfortunately, you can be pretty certain that Forza Horizon 4 will not be coming to Nintendo Switch at any time. Now, the Forza series is one of the Xbox’s longest running and most popular series, and it’s synonymous with Microsoft’s console. It’s not like some other less high-profile or third party titles that have made their way across the divide between it’s home system and PS4. The Nintendo Switch is also likely not powerful enough to run the game. Forza Horizon 4 is an Xbox One game, and there is essentially no chance that you’ll ever see it on Nintendo Switch.
If you don’t own an Xbox One, however, the game is coming to PC at the same time. Since the game is part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program, you can play it on PC via the Xbox Store. It’s also coming to Xbox Game Pass on release date. It’s therefore not all bad news for those that to opted for Nintendo Switch as their console of choice.
That’s all you need to know about whether Forza Horizon 4 is coming to Nintendo Switch. For more on the game once it releases, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
