NBA 2K19 is all about mastering plays, both defensively and offensively. You need to take advantage of any flaws in your opponents’ game the minute you spot them. This will mean you’ll need to switch up calls and plays sometimes. Keeping in mind that you can call for some screens will be an effective strategy for you to use in the game. Here’s how to call for a screen in NBA 2K19 and wreck the opposition.

If you want to do this, you need to hold down L1 if you’re on PS4 or LB if you’re on Xbox One while controlling the ball carrier. The icon for this move will appear above the player that will come to set it. Hold down the screen button during the entire play.

You can change which side they’re setting the screen by pressing R2 if you’re on PS4 or RT if you’re on Xbox One. To switch between pick and roll and pick and pop, press R1 (PS4) or RB (Xbox One) while holding down the L1 or LB button. If you want to slip the screen, simply release the screen button and the screener will shoot it to the basket.

If you can manage this effectively, your team will be an unstoppable offensive juggernaut. Exactly what you need to play in the big leagues online, that’s for sure.
