How to Get More Health in Guacamelee 2
Much of your journey to stop Salvador from destroying the Mexiverse in Guacamelee 2 will see you take on enemies of all shapes and sizes. Whether it be skeletons, huge monsters with pinatas for heads, or giant cacti, they’ll be dangerous and can take away a huge chunk of your health with just one or two attacks. While it’s easy to heal the health you already have, with simply killing enemies, walking past save points, or crushing barrels seeing your health bar fill back up, you’ll want as much health to work with in the first place as you can get. Here’s everything you need to know about how to get more health in Guacamelee 2.
The main way of getting more health in Guacamelee 2 is by collecting the game’s many heart pieces. For every three you find in the game’s world, Juan’s health will permanently increase slightly. There are three kinds of treasure boxes in the game; grey/gold ones award you with gold to spend on skills that improve Juan physical power, yellow ones grant you with one of the pieces you need to add to Juan’s stamina bar, and pink ones grant you a heart piece. Simply break three of the pink boxes and you’ll get more health. You will be able do this quite a few times, too, since the pink boxes are usually found at the end of levels, as a reward for completing challenging platforming rooms, or for getting through chicken challenge rooms.
There are also some skills that increase Juan’s health in Guacamelee 2. One increases the max health, another grants you more health from killing enemies, and the final Chamoya Fitness skill allows you to recharge your health and stamina at will by holding the left stick down. You will need to collect a lot of stamina chests and get a lot of gold to get all of them, though.
That’s all you need to know about how to get more health in Guacamelee 2. For more on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
