How to Unlock Create a Class in the CoD Black Ops 4 Beta

Recommended Videos

Call of Duty returns once again this year in the form of Black Ops 4. Treyarch, however, has opted to bring us a slightly different package this year, with no single-player campaign, in favor of offering three multiplayer modes. While the battle royale Blackout mode and Zombies modes aren’t in the Black Ops 4 beta that’s just gone live at this moment in time, players can check out the classic multiplayer battles that the series is renowned for. One feature that’s long been in the multiplayer mode is the Create a Class option, allowing players to fine-tune their loadout so they can own the battlefield.

If you’re playing the Black Ops 4 beta currently, you may have noticed that the Create a Class option is locked when you first start playing. In order to unlock the Create a Class option in the beta, you’ll need to reach level 5 by getting kills, assists, and performing actions that help with other team-based objectives depending on the game mode you’re in. You also get a little Match Bonus XP for completing a match, so it’s always worth doing so.

Once you’ve reached level 5 in the CoD Black Ops 4 beta, you’ll unlock the Create a Class option, and you’ll be free to customize your loadout however you wish with the items you’ve unlocked. More weapons and items can be unlocked as you further level up, so keep this in mind if you’re wondering why you’ve still got limited options.

That’s all you need to know to unlock the Create a Class mode in the CoD Black Ops 4 beta, and chances are, it’ll stay exactly the same for the full, official release, too. CoD: Black Ops 4 releases on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on Oct. 12. For more on everything video games, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
