How to Play Online Co-Op Multiplayer in A Way Out
A Way Out tells the story of two imprisoned men, Vincent and Leo, and how they plan to break out together. Because the game and story are designed with two people in mind, it can only be experienced in co-op multiplayer. Thankfully, even if you don’t have someone you can play with via local couch co-op, you can still enjoy the game through its online co-op multiplayer functionality.
To play online co-op in A Way Out, simply choose the Play Online option from the main menu. The game will create a new online session, and you can invite someone from your friends list by pressing the triangle button (or the Y button if you’re on Xbox One). However, do note that the person you invite needs to either own the full game or download the Friends Pass free trial version of the game. The Friends Pass version is completely free and can be downloaded from the PSN Store, Xbox Live store, or Origin when the game launches. Once you invite them, you’ll be able to start a new game together and play through it from start to finish.
That’s all you need to know about online multiplayer. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more information on A Way Out.
