How Old Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean Are

Recommended Videos

For you Brits out there, you’ll likely already have heard the names of Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean whether you’re an ice skating fan or not. The pair won the Olympic Gold at the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Olympics with a world-first 12 perfect scores of 6.0. Despite not performing their stunning Bolero routine at the Olympics this year, they are still a part of ITV’s Dancing on Ice, and that has some viewers wondering exactly how old Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean are.

Well, it turns out that Christopher Dean is 59, while Jayne Torvill is just slightly older at 60. The two will celebrate their birthdays in July and October respectively.

Despite not quite being young enough to still rule the roost at the Olympic Games, Torvill and Dean do still return to the ice every so often and perform their Bolero routine, or something similarly spectacular. In fact, just two days ago on Dancing on Ice’s final, the duo strapped their skates on for another fantastic glide across the ice.

And that’s all you need to know about the Olympic champions’ ages. For more answers to those random questions you have, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
