Pokemon GO: Where to Find Torkoal

Where to Find Torkoal in Pokemon GO

Recommended Videos

Pokemon GO is a free-to-play mobile game developed by Niantic that lets fans catch their very own Pokemon on their smartphones. Following the recent update, players can start looking for Pokemon from the third generation, including Torkoal. This tortoise-like Coal ‘mon is a fire-type and has abilities such as Drought, White Smoke, and Shell Armor.

Players have managed to track down the Pokemon in several locations, including Asia, India, Southeast Asia, and parts of the Middle East. Specifically, the ‘mon has been sighted in areas such as United Arab Emirates, Nepal, Oman, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Unfortunately, it doesn’t spawn in the following areas: Singapore, Skudai, and Johor Bahru.

While it’s exclusivity makes it quite the collectible catch, its stats leave much to be desired. The ‘mon isn’t the most capable fighter you can catch, especially since it has relatively low attack and stamina despite its high defense and powerful moveset. That said, it’s still worth catching a Torkoal if you manage to find one in the field.

The Coal Pokemon is only one of the many new creatures added in the latest update. For more tips and tricks on Pokemon GO, make sure to search for Twinfinite.
