How to Get Prometheus Lens Exotic Trace Rifle in Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris

Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris is out, and players are already getting their hands on some sweet exotics. One such exotic is the Trace Rifle, Prometheus Lens. This exotic trace rifle can really help turn the tides, so here’s how to get your hands on it.

As with most exotics, you can get it simply by getting lucky. Get your hands on enough exotic engrams, enough times, to increase your odds. Or, you know, get very lucky and somehow get it on your first engram. It’s a shame that it’s up to luck, but hey, that makes it all the more exciting, right? You can also get this weapon from Powerful Engrams, and possibly Xur when he sells it (but we can’t confirm that until he actually is selling it). Here are the rifle’s stats to help you decide if you even want to spend the time farming for it.

“Cryptarchs made a crystal that starts fires? Get me one. I don’t care how you do it. Go!” – Cayde-6

  • 312 attack
  • Requires Level 21
  • High range, stability
  • Rounds per minute – 1,000
  • Magazine – 77
  • Prismatic Inferno – Fires a solar trace beam that generates a damaging heat field that grows while the weapon continues to fire.
  • Kills with this weapon return a fraction a fraction of the ammo used to the magazine, extending the beam’s duration.

That’s all there is to getting the Prometheus Lens exotic trace rifle in Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris! If you need more help with the game, be sure to leave a comment down below and we’ll try our best to help out!
