How to Get the Telesto Exotic Fusion Rifle in Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris

Recommended Videos

The Telesto is a returning exotic fusion rifle from Destiny 1. This exotic was popular due to its unique perk of launching sticky fusion projectiles that explode a few seconds later into void damage. Great for PvE and getting bunched up enemies, or PvP too if you used it properly. Of course, this time around, the Telesto must be used in your power weapon slot and is no longer a special weapon in Destiny 2 now that it’s returned in Curse of Osiris.

Here’s how it stacks up in Destiny 2 (spoiler alert, pretty similar):

Unplanned Reprieve: Fusion projectiles attached and detonate with a delayed Void blast.

Also: Multikills with this weapon immediately reload your equipped kinetic and energy weapons from reserves.

To get this exotic fusion rifle, you’ll need to have it be your lucky draw from an Exotic or Powerful Engram. That’s right, it’s up to luck (like most Exotics in the game), unfortunately. You can always increase your chances of receiving one by having more and more engrams to turn in, of course. There’s also a possibility that Xur could sell it as well, but we can’t confirm that until he actually does.

That does it for how to get the Telesto exotic fusion rifle. Good luck and happy hunting guardians! For more on Destiny 2, be sure to check out our wiki.
