How to Get Quest Materials for the Forge in Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris DLC

The first expansion for Destiny 2, Curse of Osiris, has arrived with more weapons to conquer both new and old enemies. There are eleven new weapons in the expansion that can only be earned through specific quests, and require a little more effort than handing in tokens. For these, you’ll need the power of the Forge and some quest materials to get it going.

Once you have completed the Curse of Osiris campaign, the Forge opens up for use and Brother Vance will give you Lost Prophecies to complete. These quests contain a new weapon that can be crafted in the Forge after finding the right materials found from doing specific activities. To check what you need to complete a quest, simply highlight the Lost Prophecy item in the Consumable section of the Inventory screen.

For example, Lost Prophecy, Verse 3 requires one “Concentrated Radiolarian Culture” and two “Advanced Paradox Amplifiers.” Hitting the Details button shows that the Culture can be found from public event chests, while the Amplifier can be obtained through completing Strikes, Crucible matches, and Heroic adventures on Mercury. The criteria can be different for each material, so be sure to check every quest to make sure you know what activities to aim for.

That is how to get the quest materials necessary to craft Forge weapons in the Curse of Osiris expansion for Destiny 2. Make sure to search for Twinfinite for more coverage and our extensive Destiny 2 wiki.
