Sims 4 Cats & Dogs: How to Age Up Pets

How to Age Up Your Pets in The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs

Recommended Videos

The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs adds in the pets that simmers have been wanting for awhile. You can see their lives from puppy to elder, and the game doesn’t have many options until they’re in adult form. Knowing this, naturally, you’re wondering how to age them up. Well, it’s a bit weirder than how you age up sims.

First, you’re going to have to have access to the Dr. Magi-Heal’s Medicine Craft-o-Matic. It’s readily available in vet clinics, or you can buy one for your home. Once you’re a good level in your Vet skill, you’ll be able to craft different things that will help out animals in the game. Click on the machine, head to Craft, then Treats, and finally click on Age-Up treat. This treat, once given to your cat or dog, will age them up a level. If you want the reverse of this, simply use the Age-Down treat option, instead.

Of course, there are cheats that you can likely employ, as well as mods that manipulate sims’ ages. But if you want to just do it quickly in-game, that’s how! Let us know in the comments down below if you have any more questions.
