The Xbox One X is here and takes full advantage of the newest UI and dashboard update. In addition to playing games in beautiful 4K with HDR upgrades, you’ll also have a fancy new screen to look at when you boot it up. One feature that might be annoying if you’re playing from a brand new console is the Xbox Assist that takes up a large portion of your front page dashboard. If you’re like me, you’re probably looking for a way to get rid of it. Luckily, there is, and it’s very easy to do so.

To remove Launch Xbox Assist from the dashboard, simply go to it and press Y. This allows you to edit some of what appears on your dashboard’s UI. If you want to delete it, go ahead and hit X and it will be removed. You can also remove Pins too if you want, but personally, I find those to be helpful for keeping your frequently used apps organized and accessible.

That does it for how to remove Launch Xbox Assist from the dashboard on the Xbox One X. Enjoy your new console!
