How to Get More Mods in Forza Motorsport 7

Recommended Videos

Forza Motorsport 7 brings back the mod system from its predecessor, granting you another easy way to level up your driver and earn credits even faster. Mods don’t just grow on trees, though, you’ll need to acquire more of them via Prize Crates.

Prize Crates come in a variety of different forms. Some will reward you exclusively with Driver Gear, while others focus solely on mods. You’ll want to select the Mod Prize Crates found in the bottom right of the Prize Crate menu screen. There are two that you can choose from in Forza Motorsport 7, and we’ve listed them both below.

  • Basic (20,000 Cr) – 4 Mods guaranteed! Earn extra rewards from Challenges.
  • Premier (50,000 Cr) – Chance for Legendary items! 5 Mods guaranteed! Earn extra rewards from Challenges!

Mods can also be gotten in the other Prize Crates in Forza Motorsport 7, but the two listed above will give you nothing but the convenient XP and Credit boosters. Before equipping them, just remember you’ll have to deal with whatever impact or prerequisite each mod specifies. If you don’t meet the prerequisite, you won’t get the reward. As for those that mess with your assists, you’ll just need to get to grips with your car’s new temporary handling.

You may also receive some of these for free if you picked up Forza Motorsport 7’s Ultimate Edition or VIP Pass.
