How to Get a Sparrow in Destiny 2

Recommended Videos

Those who played the original Destiny will probably jump into the sequel and wonder exactly where their Sparrow is. Unfortunately, Destiny 2 doesn’t just hand out these nippy vehicles at the very start though. You’ll have to earn one just as you would for anything else in the game. Here’s how to get a Sparrow in Destiny 2.

Like most other equipment in the game, you’ll get a Sparrow randomly in a drop at some point while playing. From what we’ve played so far, there was nothing we triggered to receive it, we just got one out of the blue as a reward. It wasn’t until later on in our adventure that we got the drop, but this may not be the case for other Guardians out there.

Once you’ve got one, all you need to do is equip it on your Character page and you’re all set to speed off into the distance.

You can also purchase a Sparrow from vendor later in the game, but not right away. If we find any other means of getting yourself a Sparrow in the game, we’ll be sure to update this guide and let you know.

Destiny 2 is now available in certain parts of the world on PS4 and Xbox One.
