What the Max Level Cap Is in Splatoon 2

Splatoon 2 is finally out and available on Nintendo Switch and many players will be busy covering every inch of its maps in vibrantly colored paint online. As you slowly make your way through the ranks, you’ll unlock more weapons and gear along the way. More importantly, however, is the ability to unlock Ranked matches, as you’ll only have Turf War available when you first start out. As such, many players will likely be wondering what the max level cap is.

There was actually a little confusion regarding what Splatoon 2’s level cap is, as players will stop unlocking weapons once they reach 30. However, even once you’ve unlocked the final weapon, you’ve still got quite a way until you reach the end of your journey to the max level cap.

It turns out that Splatoon 2’s max level cap is 50, just the same as it was in the first game. The game also requires players to reach level 10 before they can participate in Ranked games, just as its predecessor required, too.

More About Splatoon 2

Splatoon 2 is the follow-up to Splatoon, the inky shooter game released on the Wii U two years ago. Take control of a kid, splat your enemies with ink, and transform into a squid whenever you feel like it.
