Changing Locked On Targets in ARMS
If you’re playing the online modes in ARMS and suddenly find your self in a free-for-all Battle Royale match, you’re going to need to learn how to change targets. Getting engaged in a 1v1 matchup with an opponent while the third fighter stands back and watches the show with full health is a surefire way for you to lose the round, even if you happen to win the 1v1 fight.
To change your locked on target, simply press any of the face buttons on your Joy-Cons if you’re using motion controls. The easiest button to reach is probably the Y button on the right Joy-Con, as your index finger will naturally rest there as you’re gripping the Joy-Con. Press it once to change your target lock to the other fighter, and press it again to switch back to the first fighter. If you’re using a standard controller, all you have to do is press the up button on the d-pad and you’ll be able to change targets as well. Make sure to use this feature constantly to keep track of your enemies in Battle Royale.
