Is Tacoma Coming to PC?
The Fullbright Company, the studio behind the indie hit Gone Home, will see their second title release sometime this year with Tacoma. Fans of first person exploration titles will no doubt be wondering which systems they’ll be able to play the new title on, and luckily there’s a few options.
Tacoma has been in development for a few years, but back at E3 2015 it was confirmed by Fullbright that the game would be a timed Microsoft exclusive on Xbox One and PC. There’s currently no confirmed release date for the title, but it is planned for release on PC and Xbox One sometime in 2017. Luckily, the game could come to other systems like the PS4 or Nintendo Switch at a later date, due to its timed exclusivity.
Tacoma plays much like Gone Home, except this time you’re exploring a mysteriously abandoned space station. You’ll float around the station interacting with various points and seeing the lives of the people that lived there, while being assisted by the station AI known as Odin. Of course there’s a big central mystery to uncover at the same time.
Hopefully we won’t have to wait too much longer to get our hands on the title, and we’ll make sure to provide you with any updates on its release.
