Join and Invite Friends – Ghost Recon Wildlands

Recommended Videos

One of the best ways to experience Ghost Recon Wildlands is by playing with a full squad of friends, as this allows for better communication and more interesting tactical opportunities. Thankfully, you are not limited to when you want to join or invite friends to your game since this feature is available right from the beginning. Once you create your character and watch the short intro cutscene, players will then be dropped into the massive country of Bolivia to explore. From here, you can then go to your inventory menu and scroll over to the Lobby tab in the far left.

You can see your friends list before the invite/join players section and can scroll through which people you want to invite. Simply press Square (PS4) or X (Xbox One) to invite them to your game, or just click the join icon if their lobby is open. Since some areas of Ghost Recon Wildlands are rather difficult, you can also check your friends’ statistics by hitting the info button next to their name on the right. This will bring up their favorite weapons, gear, and what level they are so you can tailor a squad to your needs.  You can also join or invite recent players by scrolling to the right with the right trigger until you reach the “Recent Ghosts” tab.

Playing with friends is highly recommended if you want to make the most out of Ghost Recon Wildlands since a lot of the game focuses around cooperative missions. Just make sure that your friends’ loadouts complement your own, as the last thing you want is a group of nothing but snipers.
