Recommended Videos

There several new special items that you’ll need to find if you wish to get all the newest creatures in Pokemon GO. In fact, there are five different special items you should start looking for as you go about becoming the very best.

The five new evolution items are Dragon Scale, King’s Rock, Metal Coat, Sun Stone, and Up-Grade; they have to be used with certain types of Pokemon if you wish to reach its next evolution stage. You will run into these evolution items as you collect from Poke Stops, though they are a bit rare so don’t be disappointed if you don’t get any right away. You should also be aware that these items will go away if you use them once, so you’ll want to make sure you have a strong Pokemon on hand to evolve.

The Dragon Scale and Up-Grade special items are only applicable for Seadra and Porygon, respectively, while the other items can evolve two different Pokemon. Make a note of which Pokemon can use these items before committing to a decision.
