How to Throw Grenades – Ghost Recon Wildlands

Recommended Videos

Ghost Recon Wildlands does not launch until March 7, but the first closed beta for the game kicked off this weekend. For a limited time, players are able explore a small chunk of Bolivia with up to four friends and complete missions through stealth or by blowing everything up.

That is where grenades come in. There are multiple kinds of throwable items in the game, such as frag and decoy grenades. Frag grenades are lethal explosions, and decoy grenades create diversions to avert the enemies’ attention to either sneak by them or take them out.

To use grenades with an Xbox One controller, tap the left direction on the D-Pad until you have selected the right kind, and equip it with LB. Then you can either throw it with the Right Trigger, or cancel the throw with the X button.

With a keyboard, select the kind of explosive with the 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 0 key, and press the G key to use. Left-clicking the mouse throws the grenade and right-clicking stows it away.

It is important to know that taking out a grenade does not take the pin out of it, so you can run around with it or put it away without fear of self-explosion. That is all it really takes to throw grenades in Ghost Recon Wildlands. Be sure to check back with Twinfinite for more Ghost Recon Wildlands tips and tricks.
