What’s in the Room – Hello Neighbor

Recommended Videos

Hello Neighbor is a popular first-person tactical puzzler with an intelligent AI nemesis. You move into a new house, and soon learn that your neighbor isn’t as normal as he first seems. Your aim is to discover what he is hiding and why his basement is locked shut. He will do anything to stop you, though, and will learn from your actions as you plan new strategies.

In the first version of Hello Neighbor’s pre-alpha demo, before the game was updated with the objective of getting into the basement, the aim was to open a door in the neighbor’s living room. To do so, you would have to find items that allowed you to remove the objects blocking the door as well as finding the code to unlock the door itself.

Once you are inside the room you will find nothing other than the underside of a staircase. The room is small and opening it acts as an example of how to complete objectives in the open-beta and the upcoming full game.

There is much more to see in the updated version of Hello Neighbor so if you haven’t played it you should see what has changed. If you want to know what currently sits in the new basement objective, head on over here.
