How to Shoot While Driving in Mafia III
While a lot of your gunfights in Mafia III will likely see you with your feet firmly planted on the ground, ducking in and out of cover and popping shots off at your enemy when they’re in sight, other times, the enemies won’t just wait around until it’s convenient for you to fight it out with them. As such, it’s worthwhile knowing what you need to do to shoot while driving in Mafia III, so let’s jump right into it.
Like every other open world game, you have the ability to shoot while driving in Mafia III. It’s certainly handy when you’re chasing down a particularly elusive enemy. And the game makes it particularly easy to target certain parts of the enemy car, or even just free shoot as you’d like. So, here’s how you do it.
You can only use one-handed guns, such as handguns or pistols, to shoot out of your car in Mafia III. Since you’re never going to be the one not behind the wheel, all you have to do is shoot with LT or L1, depending on which console you’re playing on. To cycle between targets, such as enemies or wheels, click RB or R1. Once you’ve selected your target, go ahead and fire away. Just be sure to also remember that you’re driving and pay attention. Also note that, unless your target reticule is green, you won’t have a clear shot of whatever you’re targeting.
And there you have everything you need to know to shoot while driving in Mafia III. Fingers crossed all those bullets won’t leave too much of a mark on your whip! Check back with Twinfinite for further help with Mafia III, with guides, tips, tricks, and more in our comprehensive wiki!
