Deus Ex: Mankind Divided – How to Earn Credits (Money)

It's all about the money.
This article is over 8 years old and may contain outdated information

It is possible to go through the entirety of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided without having to spend a single cent, but having credits to spend can give you a serious edge in the game because you’ll be able to buy powerful weapons from vendors. Listed below are a few reliable ways to earn credits in the game.

Selling off your items – You can run out of inventory space pretty quickly. Instead of discarding your unwanted items, why not sell them instead? You’re bound to pick up lots of valuable items along the way that you won’t be able to use in combat, but these items could end up fetching you a decent sum of money if you choose to sell them. If you have ammo for a gun that you don’t currently possess, feel free to sell those off more extra credits too.

Pick up credit chips – Credit chips can be found all over the place, as long as you’re willing to take the time to look. Whenever you enter a new area, make sure to search drawers, desks, and cabinets for any valuable chips that might be hidden away. Most of these chips won’t bring in a lot of money, but they do add up.

Extort money from NPCs – If you want to be a monster, there are a few quests in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided that will allow you to cheat some money out of the unsuspecting NPCs. You’ll need to be shrewd to pull it off, but this is another easy way to get some fast cash.

Do you know of any other methods that can help with earning money in the game? Feel free to share them in the comments down below.
